Starting a business is a big step, and as such needs to be thought through. For some it will be a step never regretted, for others it will be a mistake and for others the right thing to do at the time.
Here are some of the things that will need to be thought through when considering a business start up:
Am I to trade as a sole trader, or as a partnership, or as a limited company?
Will I be able to work from home or do I need premises?
Will I need to employ staff?
Will I make enough money to meet all my expenses?
Where will I get new customers or clients from?
Will I need to open a business bank account?
How do I go about informing the Revenue of my new position?
What do I do about VAT?
