Many find bookkeeping a chore, but unfortunately it is a necessary part of running a business. 

You need to maintain adequate records to establish your income and expenditure or else the Revenue will not be pleased. 

If you rely on your accounting records for decision making and the information is incomplete and inaccurate then the decisions you come to may well be flawed.
